Art Direction

Art direction is the creative decision-making layer above execution. It determines the visual language of a campaign, defines how a shoot is photographed, specifies the colour mood, the casting, the styling, the reference points. Without it, execution drifts.

We provide art direction as a standalone service for clients who have a production team in place but need someone to define and oversee the creative direction. We also provide it as part of larger brand or campaign projects.

For photographic shoots, we produce a detailed creative brief covering concept, mood, lighting direction, styling references, and shot list. We can attend the shoot or work remotely with a photographer from our brief.

Campaign art direction covers all the visual decision-making for a specific campaign: format, colour palette, visual metaphors, type treatment, and how all the assets relate to each other.
